Catch the Full Documentary Following the Recreation of Woodstock’s “Light Bus” Online

Earlier this year, VW and a team of restorers revealed that they had restored the famous “Light Bus” that brought the band Light to Woodstock 50 years ago. And now you can watch the full, glorious restoration, on CuriosityStream.

The bus, unfortunately, isn’ the original—that one is lost to history—but is a faithful recreation of the Type 2 that became one of the poster children for the famous music festival.

You can now see everything that went into recreating the famous VW thanks to a documentary that followed the team around during the project. The doc is being streamed on Curiosity Stream, a site created by the founder of the Discover Network. Subscriptions to the network aren’t free, but there is a trial mode if you’re really invested in watching the documentary.

The documentary is available to watch today, coinciding with the start of the Light Bus’s road trip to Woodstock to celebrate the festival’s (slightly muted) 50th anniversary.
